Dr Chantrill is staff specialist medical oncologist and head of service for medical oncology across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.

She is chair of the Australasian Gasto-Intestinal Trials Group (AGITG), executive member of the Australian Pancreatic Cancer Genome Initiative (APGI) and honorary research fellow at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Sydney, NSW.
