Position Summary:
As a General Practitioner with us, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess and diagnose medical conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans - Provide preventative care and health education to promote wellness and prevent illness - Manage chronic conditions with a holistic approach, working with patients to monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed - Perform minor procedures within the scope of primary care (e.g., suturing, incision and drainage, etc.) - Order and interpret diagnostic tests to make evidence-based clinical decisions - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff, to provide comprehensive care - Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in compliance with medical standards and regulations - Participate in practice development and quality improvement initiatives - Contribute to a positive, supportive work environment that prioritizes patient-centered care and team cohesion

Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution and valid registration AHPRA - FRACGP or ACRRM, and up to date Indemnity Insurance - Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient-centered and evidence-based care - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds - Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment - Previous experience in primary care or family medicine is preferred but not required for the right candidate
