ABOUT THE ROLE

St Agnes’ GP Clinic is seeking dedicated GP who has a strong commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare for elderly patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who enjoys working in a collaborative and patient-centred environment, specifically in aged care, where the need for ongoing medical management is critical.

The role offers you the chance to work closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of allied health professionals, dementia specialist, nurse practitioner and registered nurses specialising in aged care. This integrated approach ensures that patients receive well-rounded care that addresses not only their immediate medical needs but also their long-term health needs.

This position is ideal for a GP looking for a flexible working arrangement that accommodates your lifestyle while providing an opportunity to earn 80% on billings in addition to this attractive remuneration structure.

• State-of-the-Art Clinic Facilities - You will work in a purpose-built clinic room, fully equipped with facilities for performing simple procedures, the clinic is specifically designed to meet the needs of patients with dementia, allowing you to deliver focused and effective care.
• Advanced Technology Support - A dedicated laptop will be provided to ensure seamless integration with Best Practice software, residential care electronic medical records, and the medication management system.

WHO YOU ARE

• Full AHPRA registration .
• Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine
• A strong commitment to delivering patient-centred care is essential, with a focus on understanding and addressing the unique needs of elderly patients in a residential aged care setting.
• You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with patients, their families, and your colleagues.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is essential.
