We have an opportunity within the Neurosurgery Department at Royal Hobart Hospital for a BASIC TRAINEE (formerly advertised as Senior Resident Medical Officer). Royal Hobart hospital is Tasmania’s largest hospital and major referral centre. As the major clinical teaching and research centre, RHH works closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. Salary $134,930 per annum Salary range is in accordance with the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2022 |
Classification Medical Practitioner Level 5 (Registrar) in accordance with the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award |
Period of Employment Fixed term, full time day work, 76 hours per fortnight (+10 hours protected training time pro rata, per fortnight) commencing 3 February 2025 until 2 February 2026. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. |
