NT Health manages the Northern Territory public health system, operating across 5 service delivery regions, 6 hospitals, 74 health clinics and 7 corporate offices.

To maintain their high standard of service to the public they require a Locum Consultant Non-Interventional Cardiologist to work in Darwin and Palmerston.

Dates required are:

• 08/11/2024 – 15/11/24
• 20/12/2024 – 26/12/2024

7 working days (Friday 8:00am to Friday 8:00am)

Rate of Pay:

• $2500 per day (inclusive of on-call)

Entitlements:

• Reimbursement of one return domestic economy flight up to the value of $2000
• Reimbursement of accommodation up to the value of $250 per night
• Hospital provided Fleet vehicle
• Reimbursement of return taxi fare to Darwin International Airport

To be considered you must be able to provide the following:

• NT Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), or application with receipt
• Medical indemnity Insurance details
• Current Criminal Record Screening Clearance (within 12 months)
• Current AHPRA registration with no conditions
• Updated immunisations

Qualifications required:

• Eligible for registration with AHPRA together with a Cardiology accredited Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent specialist overseas qualifications.
