Evans Head Medical Centre is a busy, privately owned surgery located within walking distance from the town Centre. With the ever-increasing population there is more demand for health services in the region.
Evans Head Medical Centre are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from General Practitioners (GP’s) interested in support from us, to facilitate your full time or part time independent medical practice.
The clinic is in an MMM5, DPA location which means GPs on the Bonded Medical Program (BMP) are able to express interest in consulting from this location.
EOI’s are welcomed and encouraged from the following GP’s
Our facility offers a full range of support services including nursing and administration support. Our well-trained capable management and administrative team will support you with appointment and billings. Our nursing staff with assist you to deliver high quality health care for acute and chronic diseases.
Within close proximity to the Gold Coast, GPs looking to relocate to Evans Head or surrounds would have the benefit of leading schools and universities for their children’s education. The area provides an enviable lifestyle with “coastal/country living”. The Ballina Byron airport is 40mins away and offers connections to all major capital cities, and the Gold Coast is only 1 hour drive away.

Doctors operate their own medical practice within our location with complete clinical independence. As such, it is recommended you be able to provide a range of general practice services to the local community. - Fellowed/Vocationally Registered GPs
- Vocationally recognised overseas trained doctors who are subject to the ten-year moratorium requirement
- Temporary resident doctors (noting that you will require a Health Workforce Certificate
- IMGs and FGAMS
- Vocationally recognised overseas trained doctors who have completed their ten-year moratorium requirement.
