Nimbin Medical Centre is a mixed billing and AGPAL Accredited general practice seeking a doctor to join our happy team. This practice was established in 1982 providing the community with a full range of GP services offers a challenging and highly rewarding experience for the right person.
RVTS Training is a four-year GP and Rural Generalist training program delivered by Distance Education and Remote Supervision leading to Fellowship of the ACRRM and/or RACGP. RVTS Training is fully funded by the Australian Government.
The team here prides itself on its commitment to supporting this community and each other. Our GPs' interests are varied and include but are not limited to skin procedures, men's health, indigenous health, medicinal cannabis, and integrative medicine.
We provide space to a lied health workers including a psychologist supporting our patients' chronic disease management. Nimbin also has a hospital and community pharmacy. We offer flexibility with start and finish times and time out for study and family commitments.
A vibrant village at the foothills of the Nightcap National Park. It is well situated for easy access to an international airport. At just over 1-hour drive from the Gold Coast or Byron Bay and 30 minutes to Lismore, Nimbin sits in the heart of all this spectacular region has to offer.
