Exciting Opportunities for General Practitioners (GPs) in the Armidale Urgent Care Service (UCS) at UNE Life Healthcare Centre!

We are seeking expressions of interest from passionate and experienced Urgent Care GPs to join our team at the UNE Life Healthcare Centre in Armidale, NSW. Our clinic provides short-term, episodic care for urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening.

This position offers a salary-based contract rather than an independent practitioner status.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong background in emergency and/or general practice
• A passion for providing high-quality, patient-centred care
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Advanced Skills Training in Emergency Medicine (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (preferred)
• Availability across Monday to Friday (12:00 noon – 8:00 pm) and Saturday to Sunday (9:00 am – 5:00 pm)

This role may qualify for a SmartyGrant, which includes our Welcome Ambassador Service running over six months. This service supports your relocation with:
