After colliding with a vehicle while riding his bike without a helmet, this 30-year-old man was seeing stars — well, in his cataract at least.

The patient presented to doctors in India with progressively deteriorating vision in his left eye.

The collision, which occurred three months earlier, resulted in blunt trauma to the aforementioned eye and a concussion.

Ocular examination revealed his best-corrected visual acuity to be 20/20 in the right eye but 20/40 in the left, while the intraocular pressure in both eyes was normal.
