There is no shock and awe for Medicare and GP funding in this year's budget.

After hours – new PIP payments
New payments for GP practices through the PIP scheme for after hours.
To be introduced from July this year. Budget papers say it will “encourage eligible general practices to provide after hours care for patients”.
The total cash – unspecified at this stage – will come from cutting funds from the After Hours
