25 years - and what a change

THE introduction of the desktop PC has been the biggest change to general practice in 25 years, according to MO’s 25th anniversary reader survey.

The survey enabled almost 800 of our readers to voice their impressions of how general practice has changed over the years since MO first went to print.

The effect on the profession of changing technology was the theme that came through loud and clear, with remuneration, respect, red tape and quality of care also weighing heavily on the minds of readers.
