550 pharmacists ready to vaccinate in Qld

More than 550 community pharmacists have now been trained to administer influzena, MMR and pertussis vaccinations in Queensland this year.

Under a controversial pilot scheme launched in April last year, some 157 pharmacists have administered around 11,000 flu vaccinations in the state, charging patients $25-$30 a time.
