6 key changes to the management of AF

New atrial fibrillation guidelines presented at the ESC Congress in Rome this week recommend a number of changes to the management of the condition.

A collaboration between the European Society of Cardiology and the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, the guidelines emphasise the need for early detection of asymptomatic AF, a common cause of stroke.
