7 things pharmacies need to measure for success
Chartered accountant Paul O’Sullivan, group manager at Sigma Financial Services, has compiled a list of seven things pharmacy owners need to measure in order to increase success and ward off trouble.
- Know your customer demographics: this way, you can stock products that appeal to your market. Your local retail traders’ association, shopping centre landlords and the local council may be able to help.
- Have a sales budget: set daily targets for each area of the pharmacy business and share these with staff. A daily benchmark makes it ‘real’ and
