ACCC reminds pharmacies to protect patient trust

Chemmart has been forced to pull advertising for over-the-counter genetic tests after the consumer watchdog ruled customers could be misled.

Promotional material for the myDNA test promised “personalised medicine”, but copped criticism from anti-quackery campaigner Professor Ken Harvey who argued it promised more that the test could deliver.
