AGPN warned to strike a deal or face administration
After the AGPN failed to get the 75% of member support required to wind up and hand $360,000 in cash reserves to Australian Medicare Local Alliance, AGPN chair Dr Emil Djakic (pictured) said the network needed to strike a deal with members soon or face voluntary administration.
“We currently have a positive bank account which is allowing us to function,” he said.
“Obviously that can’t continue indefinitely. Some plan that is acceptable to the members [is needed].”
