Agreement puts Chemsave in fierce competition with Chemist Warehouse

Pharmacy network Chemsave could be about to give Chemist Warehouse a taste of its own medicine.

The 150-store network has signed an agreement to distribute vitamins for AuMake, an ASX-listed company that sells products to daigous — agents who purchase on behalf of Chinese customers.

The aim is for Chemsave and AuMake’s Healthy Essence vitamin range to capture the daigou and Chinese tourist market.

In a statement to the ASX, AuMake says it plans to promote Chemsave as an alternative to “other recognised pharmacy networks” targeting the Chinese market.
