AHPRA begins publicly listing old complaints against doctors

Doctors will be forced to live with the after-effects of complaints in virtual perpetuity as AHPRA begins linking disciplinary decisions and court rulings to its public register of practitioners.

Links to publicly available decisions as far back as 2010 are also being added to the public database as part of a raft of measures to make it easier for patients to see whether their doctors have been formally accused of misconduct.
