AHPRA denies targeting Lyme-disease practitioners

AHPRA has denied targeting practitioners who diagnose and treat Lyme–like disease and has defended its role in protecting patients against unsafe practices and financial exploitation.

Associate Professor Stephen Bradshaw (pictured), a practitioner member of AHPRA and the Medical Board of Australia (MBA), says there is a perception among some patients that the two bodies are targeting doctors treating Lyme.
