Alcohol promotion on the web flying ‘under the radar’: AMA

Releasing a new report on alcohol and young people today, the association said regulatory powers must be taken from the alcohol industry and replaced with statutory “realistic and enforceable government sanctions”.

“Self-regulation by the alcohol industry has failed,” AMA president Dr Steve Hambleton said in a statement.
