Alzheimer’s drink in the spotlight again

There is no evidence the controversial dietary drink Souvenaid can slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, an NPS review concludes.

The analysis of three randomised controlled trials concluded that while it was well tolerated and did no harm, “there is no evidence that it [Souvenaid] has any effect in decreasing the rate of cognitive decline or delaying  AD progression”.
