AMA shares plan to promote women and end bullying

The AMA has outlined plans to put more women in senior college and professional roles to stamp out bullying and uncivil behaviour in medicine.

In its recommendations to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ expert advisory group on discrimination, bullying and harassment, the peak body says gender inequity has a proven causal relationship with discrimination, bullying and sexual harassment of female employees.
