Another 'fake' doctor found doing GP-type consultations

Authorities are investigating another "fake" doctor who has allegedly been offering GP-type consultations to patients.

More than 140 patients have been contacted after concerns were raised about Phoebe Pacheco, who worked at Werribee Cosmetic Medicine in Melbourne between January 2013 and October last year.

AHPRA alleges the Philippines-born woman saw patients and carried out minor procedures and issued scripts without being a registered medical practitioner.

The allegations follow a police raid where officers seized records from the clinic.
