Antidepressants’ efficacy disappointing

A pair of Australian psychiatrists have questioned the effectiveness of antidepressants, saying the drugs may actually be unnecessary for a large number of users.

At least 10% of adult Australians take antidepressants every day, but the evidence shows  the gap between placebo and the medications’ response is closing.
