Antispychotics link to pre-term birth

Babies born to mothers taking antipsychotics often experience respiratory distress and medication withdrawal at birth, a small study finds.

The Australian research followed 147 women who took a range of different antipsychotic drugs throughout their pregnancies, and then followed the progress of 100 babies from the cohort for the first year of their lives.
