Apotex pulls three drugs from PBS

The Federal Government’s PBS pricing reforms have forced generics company Apotex to delist three preparations, the company says in a statement.

The decision to withdraw the drugs comes as a result of months of ongoing, significant and widespread price reductions and PBS changes imposed by the government across the broader pharmaceutical industry, it says.

Apotex products to be removed are:

• Paracetamol/codeine tablets 500mg/30mg blister pack 20 (early Q4 2016)
