Appeal rejected in pharmacy damages case

A customer who sought to claim damages after injuring his hip in a pharmacy has lost an appeal against a medical panel decision disallowing his case.

The patient, Craig Deitrich, suffered the injury when he “fell heavily when his foot came into contact with a promotional poster” situated on the floor surface of Pulse Pharmacy at Northcote Plaza in Victoria.
