It shows that pharmacists spent about 5.6 hours a week mitigating shortages in 2018, and this rose to an average of 6.6 hours in 2019.

The Pharmaceutical Group of European Union survey of pharmacy organisations in 24 countries shows that shortages are having a financial impact on community pharmacies.
