'Arrest me' says doctor over child detention torture comments

A leading paediatrician has challenged the government to arrest him over revelations he has made about the appalling treatment of children in immigration detention.

Last week Professor David Isaacs (pictured) sent an open letter to the Prime Minister and Minister for Immigration advising them of a recently published article in which he says the conditions imposed by prolonged indefinite immigration detention are comparable to torture.
