Asthma meds in, cannabis spray out: PBAC

An array of new asthma and diabetes drugs look set to be PBS listed — but a cannabis spray for multiple sclerosis has been knocked back.

Alogliptin (Nesina), canagliflozin (Invokana) and dapagliflozin (Forxiga) are all on course to further swell the ranks of second-line diabetes drugs, after receiving positive recommendations from the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (see below).
