Aussie study finds low vit D levels

More than half the people in an Australian study have vitamin D levels below the 75nmol/L deemed appropriate for musculoskeletal health benefits.

The study of 2,413 participants in Adelaide found 38.5% had levels below 60nmol/L and 22.7% had levels below 50nmol/L.
There was a higher prevalence of deficiency among women than men, although males who were not born in Australia were more likely to be vitamin D deficient.
