Batches of typhoid vax recalled
Batches of a typhoid vaccine have been recalled in Australia, due to manufacturing glitches which could have hampered the vaccine’s efficacy.
The problem affects eight batches of Sanofi’s Typhim Vi Vaccine, the Therapeutic Goods Administration said in a recall alert released Friday.
Doctors are urged to check their stocks and return any affected batches to the manufacturer. However there is no need to revaccinate anyone who has already received an affected dose
