Rheumatoid arthritis patients have a substantially higher risk of non-melanoma skin cancer and biologic treatment further adds to this risk, according to Swedish research.
The data linkage study found a nearly doubled risk of squamous cell carcinoma in biologic-naïve patients, compared with matched controls.
