Brain injured obstetrician banned

A doctor with a brain injury who was accused of insulting patients will not be allowed to practise again before passing a battery of neuropsychological tests.

Roman Hasil has been reprimanded by the NSW Medical Tribunal in a decision handed down following a hearing in October.

Czech-trained Mr Hasil, who worked as an obstetrician before his registration was suspended in February 2008, had already been found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct during a tribunal
