Breast cancer survivors love their GP

GPs have been praised for their care of women with metastatic breast cancer after a patient survey revealed high levels of trust in GPs' clinical judgement, understanding and availability.

About 72% of women with metastatic breast cancer trust their GP's knowledge and judgement in helping to manage their condition and 70% believe their GP has a good understanding of what worries them, according to a survey of 582 Australian patients.
