Call for pharmacy smoking cessation incentives

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia has backed calls for incentives for community pharmacists to provide smoking cessation services.

Researchers who found pharmacst-led interventions significally improved abstinence rates in smokers said health-policy makers should provide such incentives.
The research, published in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics, indicated that pharmacist-led interventions showed an improved abstinence
