Can you be coached for medical school?

Critics say UMAT can't be coached for, but a number of businesses claim they can prepare students for the exam that causes much angst.  Antonio Bradley sits in on one course.

Sometimes it's hard to tell whether Dr Ed Boyapati (PhD) is joking.

It's a mid-July afternoon in Sydney, in the final weeks before the dreaded medical school entry test for undergraduates, and he's just advised a lecture hall full of 150 wannabe doctors to check their smiles in a mirror to see if they are symmetrical.

"If you've got an asymmetric
