Chiropractor denies ‘predatory behaviour’
A GP has come to the rescue of three elderly women after they were sucked into a chiropractor’s $1500 weight loss program during a health seminar held at their retirement village.
The women, in their 70s, had attended the seminar run by Toowong chiropractor David Doyle.
At the end of the session, Mr Doyle, who had brought along an EFTPOS machine, signed them up for assessment sessions for his “weight loss and lipo laser programs” lasting between nine and 12 weeks.
But a few days later, after the women handed over the money, they visited Dr Tim O’Brien and a colleague
