Chlorophyll drink linked to skin blisters

Chlorophyll may be intended for photosynthesis, but for humans who guzzle it as a supplement the green pigment may trigger photodermatitis, dermatologists in WA warn.

Two patients who consumed a Swisse Chlorophyll drink marketed as an antioxidant supplement developed a pseudoporphyria photodermatitis, according to a report in the Australasian Journal of Dermatology.
