Cholesterol link to aggressive cancers

Hyperlipidemia can speed up the progression of aggressive cancers, according to a team of Australian scientists.

The researchers from the University of Queensland report a link between high LDL-cholesterol levels and increased rates in the spread of prostate, breast, ovarian and kidney cancers as well as melanoma.
