Clampdown on Lyme disease GP

A GP and Lyme disease advocate fighting for official recognition of the disease in Australia has been reined in by the Medical Board of Australia after treating patients he believed were infected.

The Queensland doctor, Dr Andrew Ladhams (pictured), has been banned from treating the disease without confirmation from an infectious disease specialist that an infection is indeed present.
