AN ELDERLY woman has been found crawling on the ground after being left to wait for an ambulance in the car park of a Brisbane health clinic.

The woman, described as frail and believed to be in her 80s, was found in the car park of the Redland Health Service Centre at Cleveland on 25 July, The Courier-Mail has reported.
After receiving treatment, she'd been left outside in the approaching darkness to wait for an ambulance while staff locked up the clinic.
