Colorectal study assesses screening benefit

People who screen for colorectal cancer (CRC) are 44% less likely to develop the disease in the next few years than those who have never undergone screening, according to a study published in the Medical Journal of Australia.

The reduction lasts at least four years, according to the research, which is based on questionnaires completed by from 196 464 people in the NSW 45 and Up study.
