Concern mounts over talk of exclusive supply

Wholesalers are unhappy about several clauses in the Government's CSO review

Pharmaceutical companies may soon get formal approval for exclusive supply from the federal Department of Health.


The department is seeking submissions for a review of the community service obligation (CSO) funding pool, but some of the seven key terms of reference have caused concern among CSO wholesalers.

The department is considering requiring all PBS medicines to be made available to all wholesalers.
