Consumer demand for antibiotics falls

The percentage of patients who ask their doctors for antibiotics has dropped from 17% in 2014 to 13% in 2015, according an NPS MedicineWise report.

Programs across seven different therapeutic areas in the 2013-14 financial year returned cost savings to the PBS of $69.24 million, according to the organisation,
