Consumers endorse pharmacists’ role

Consumers would welcome an expanded scope of practice for pharmacists, a survey by the Consumers Health Forum has found.

The CHF online survey revealed that nearly three quarters of respondents supported pharmacists providing expanded services, by either co-locating with doctors or services at local pharmacies, while fewer than a quarter of respondents opposed such a move.
