Continued dispensing a winner with patients

A majority of Australians are in favour of continued dispensing by pharmacists, and use of the program can provide short-term compliance benefits, research reveals.

Users of statins and oral contraceptive medications, the two classes in which Australian pharmacists can currently undertake continued dispensing, has revealed strong levels of support for the program, and for its contribute to quality use of medicines by improving compliance.
