Contraceptive pill ups risk of Crohn’s

Women taking the contraceptive pill may be at heightened risk of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, research finds.

The study of over 230,000 US nurses found current users of the pill were 2.8 times more likely to develop Crohn’s disease than women who had never used the pill.
