Patients in search of a quick fix for breathlessness are turning to shonky oxygen concentrators that purport to boost "physical ability and life's energy", an expert warns.
Costing upwards of $500, oxygen concentrators are sold online and largely target COPD patients.
Some are promoted as helping pregnant women, infants, students and even "brain workers" to breathe easier.
