Cyclone-ravaged pharmacies face power cuts
Dozens of pharmacies in communities hit by cyclone Debbie are facing power cuts, vaccine shortages and a potentially huge clean-up bill.
Some 15 pharmacies are located in the areas worst hit by the storm including the Whitsunday Islands, Airlie Beach, Bowen, Collinsvale and Proserpine.
The Queensland branch of the Pharmacy Guild is trying to contact members, but communication is being hampered by the loss of power and other infrastructure.
It also reached out to members before the storm with strategies for before and after the storm.
